Hello, Thank you for stopping by and checking out the blog for the 67th District in the State of Missouri. I hope to use this site to communicate with my constituents on some of the important issues that are going on in Jefferson City. Please feel free to comment on any of the issues posted here. I look forward to seeing your feedback. Sincerely, State Representative Mike Daus 67th District
I currently live on the same block I was born and raised on with my wife Patricia Chavez and our sons Mate (rhymes with latte) and Vincent. I attended Holy Family Grade School, St. Louis University High School and graduated from St. Louis University in 1996. In my free time I enjoy researching my family genealogy and putting the headphones on and listening to music.
I was elected to the Missouri House in a special election in August of 2001. Due to term limits I am serving in my last term which will expire in January of 2009.

Congratulations!!
Don't get too busy to enjoy the little guys - they grow up so fast and are the greatest treasure one could ever possess.
Nobody gets old and says, "I wish I hadn't had kids."
Most people grow old and say, "I wish I had had more kids"
or "I wish I had spent more time with my kids."
Enjoy!
